The forecast looks perfect this weekend if you like sunshine, low humidity, cool mornings, and mild/warm afternoons. High temperatures will top out in the low 80s on Saturday, and low to mid 80s Sunday. If you have outdoor plans make sure to grab sunglasses and suncreen.

One of the biggest festivals in our area is this weekend, the Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival in Richmond Hill. If you are going to the Saturday evening concert you may want to bring an extra layer as temperatures will cool to the 60s after sunset.

The strongest cold front so far this fall season is looming for early next week. The front should swing through Monday night or early Tuesday. Behind the front highs will only reach the 60s with lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s. That is a December-like chill in October!

Here is a look at one forecast model for low temperatures next Thursday! Make sure to check back in the days ahead as we will continue to update you on just how cold it will be by the midweek.

Finally, with Tropical Storm Karl set to dissipate on Saturday, there will be no named storms in the Atlantic Basin. No new tropical activity is expected for at least the next 5 days.
