LITTLE FALLS — The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man shooting a stop sign Monday, Oct. 10, at the intersection of 160th Avenue and Iris Road.

The incident was reported at 6:30 p.m. in Little Falls Township, 2 miles south of Little Falls. According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, a witness saw the man standing in front of his vehicle shooting a black pistol at the stop sign on 160th Avenue and Iris Road. The man then got into a black four-door SUV and started traveling west on Iris Road toward Highway 10.

According to the sheriff’s office, a witness said there was dust on the back of the window, and it appeared there were three digits written in the dust, possibly “172.” The suspect was described as a white man in his mid-40s, approximately 5-foot 10-inches to 6-feet tall and wearing black sunglasses.
