I have a smaller, narrower face, and some oversized shield-style sunglasses overwhelm my face. Then 100% launched the 2022 Tokyo Night collection inspired by the city’s neon lights. The frames have been around for two years, but 100% added their purple multilayer mirror lens to the collection. The lens provides color and contrast enhancement which I found valuable when riding on overcast or sunny days.

The Speedcraft XS uses a single shield for a clear field of view with no obstructions and 100% UV protection. As a contact lens wearer, the reduced wind helps keep debris out of my eyes. The interchangeable polycarbonate lens is scratch resistant and treated with a hydrophobic and oleophobic coating to repel water, dirt, and oil.

A flexible, lightweight TR90 frame is 15% smaller than the Speedcraft SL, making it more suited for a narrow, small face. The rubber-coated adjustable temples and nose pad increase comfort and fit while keeping the glasses in place even when perspiring.

In the sample 100% sent me, the case included two interchangeable lenses (clear and purple multilayer mirror), two rubber-coated nose pads, a micro-fiber cleaning cloth/storage bag, and a hard-shelled zippered storage case.

For those riders tired of huge frames overwhelming their narrow, small faces but still want high-performance sunglasses, 100% Speedcraft XS is worth a look. Lightweight, comfortable, and great visibility make for an excellent choice.
