The Masked Singer's upcoming episode will be TV show-themed and features Full House actress Jodie Sweetin as a special guest for the night.

Full House actress Jodie Sweetin is set to appear on the upcoming TV show-themed episode of The Masked Singer. For season 8, the singing competition show implemented a new format making the series more exciting than ever. One of the most anticipated features is theme nights. Last week, The Masked Singer showcased Vegas night, the first themed night of the season. Three celebrities were revealed during the night, NSYNS member Chris Kirkpatrick as Hummingbird, comedian Jeff Dunham as Pi-Rat, and singer Montell Jordan as Panther. Harp moved on to the next round, keeping her identity a secret. Though fans are sure she's Glee star, Amber Riley.

Jodie will be popping up on The Masked Singer stage for the next themed night, TV night. The Masked Singer announced her appearance on their official Twitter account, getting fans excited for the upcoming episode. "We can't have a TV Night on #TheMaskedSinger without @JodieSweetin!" the show shared. The tweet includes a photo of Jodie dressed in a pink pantsuit holding a box. She stands next to Nick Cannon, who's sporting a 70s-inspired look with patterned pants, a brown hat, a brown jacket, and yellow-tinted aviator glasses. It's unclear what her role in the episode will be, but the box she's holding could be a clue toward a contestant's identity.

According to a trailer for The Masked Singer episode, all the panelists will be dressed as different TV characters. While Robin Thicke's outfit is unclear, Ken Jeong seems to be dressed as himself from his 2015 sitcom Dr. Ken. Jenny McCarthy is dressed as Wonder Woman from the 1975 television series starring Lynda Carter, and Nicole Scherzinger's 70s eyelashes and long black hair point toward Cher, who starred on The Sonny & Cher Show in 1976. Jodie's outfit doesn't look familiar, but fans will find out during the episode if she followed the theme or not.

Jodie will be a great addition to The Masked Singer. The actress has been beloved since she was five years old and Full House first premiered. It makes sense that she'd be featured on The Masked Singer TV-themed episode since Full House was such a popular and unforgettable show. Even when it was revamped as Fuller House on Netflix 21 years after the series ended, it was still popular. Jodie's appearance may be one of the best guest appearances in The Masked Singer history.

Inviting Jodie onto the show is also a great way to honor Bob Saget. Bob played Jodie's father on Full House and was like a second dad to her in real life. He sadly passed away in January 2022, and the cast was devastated to lose someone so important in their lives. Bob appeared on The Masked Singer season 4 in November 2020 as the Squiggly Monster, so having Jodie come on the show for an episode is a sweet way to remember him. Maybe it will even inspire her or her Full House costars to compete on the show in future seasons.
